Butler is overrated

I actually like Butler, since they are one of the few decent colleges in Indiana, so in no way is this post meant to bash Butler.

  • Butler has lost 3 games in the HORIZON LEAGUE. If it was Big 11, that would be okay. But the Horizon League. Seriously...
  • They only have 2 top 50 wins, against Xavier and UAB. Penn State, another bubble team, has four Top 50 wins.
  • An SOS of 99 isn't that tough

While I am hoping they get into the tournament, their current play makes me think they won't. Unless they crush Davidson, I don't see them making the tournament if they don't win the Horizon. And if they do, it will be by the grace of God. They are a young team, so I'll be expecting a lot of them in the future. This year though, it will be close.

The past few weeks

I haven't blogged in a while, so please excuse the fact that I have lost my mad skills. I'm more into NCAAB, so I'll put this in that category, even though it is a bunch of random stuff.

  • I was disappointed that A-Rod did steroids. Steroids are beginning to ruin all major sports. I'm crossing my fingers and toes it doesn't come down to the collegiate level, or worse, womens sports!
  • Todd Haley is the new Kansas City coach. I prefer Tony Dungy style coaching, but I'm starting to get desperate for a good KC team. I don't care how mean our coach is, as long as we can win.
  • Great job Kansas on Football Recruiting! While we didn't hit the Top 25, we finished in the upper half of the Big 12, which is defiantly an improvement. And, we beat Missouri!
  • There were some questionable calls in the Missouri/Kansas game. The 5 second violation in particular. That was an awful call, and might of cost us the game. We blew a comfortable lead, and our youth showed. I'm still proud of the boys in Crimson and Blue.

Non-related sports

  • I still think Mitt Romney is awesome
  • Obama's stimulus plan has too much porkbarrel spending in it
  • Romney would have beaten Obama in the general election
  • I am still awesome

The Beginning of a New Era

Even though I have been on here for quite a while, I finally relized just moments ago that there are blogs on here. (Note: I spend about 3 hours on here a day) So, a new era of my life has begun. I love blogging, its like a passion, so be expecting several many posts on here from me.

Just had to make my first post. Nothing to special about it; nothing to comment besides welcome.
